In Evacuation, life on our planet is being burned away by the increasingly intense sunlight. Everyone is trying to move people and factories to a new planet. There are only four rounds to do this.You start the Evacuation game with a fully functioning economy, and over the course of the game you must dismantle and move that economy. Income and production on the old planet shrinks over time. So you have to quickly put things into action on the new planet. Resources cannot be mixed across planets, so you need to be extra careful with your planning.To do this, choose actions from the player board. When playing the expert variant, you can also select and combine actions from your hand cards. Every action has its own value. The sum of the actions is important for an 'end of round' bonus. Additionally, players move their markers along the orbital track based on the value of their actions.If you can increase the production of three resources to level 8 and have three virtual reality machines on the new planet, you win the game. If no one achieves this goal, the players compare their scores after four rounds.
